Statement of Faith

  • The Doctrine of the Scriptures
    • We believe the Scriptures (66 books) to be our sole authority becuase they are fully "inspried by God" (II Tim 3:16, 17), and fully "innerant (II Time 2:15), and is the source of life and the directive for activity (Heb 4:12) for the belivere. (Psalm 119:9, 11, 18, 25, 49-50, 89, 105, 165, 176)

  • The Doctrine of God
    •  In the nature of ONE GOD (Trinity, Triune, Godhead) there are THREE PERSONS: God the Father (Jn 6:27, Gal 1:3); God the Son (Jn 1:1, Heb 1:8); and God the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3-4, 9 ). These were from Eternity Past (Gen 1:1) and will be through-out Eternity (Isa 43:10, 11). We believe the attributes of God to be: Immutable (Jms 1: 17); Omnipresent (Ps 139: 7-12); Sovereign (Eph 1:8); Omniscient (Matt 11:21); Omnipotent (Rev 19:6); and perfect in Justice (Acts 17:31) -in Love (Eph 2:4,5) -in Truth (Jn 14:6) -and Holiness ( 1 Jn 1:5).

  • The Doctrine of Christ
    •  We beleive that Christ (the Second Person of the Trinity, the Son of God) to be born of a virgin (Gal 4:4)l subject to growth (Lk 2:52); seen and handled by man ( 1 Jn 1:1, Matt 26:12); and subject to the limitations of humanity ( Matt 4:2, Jn 19:28, 4:6, 11:35, Heb 4:15) demonstrating He is all God and all man, yet with no limitations. He came to earth to reveal God to men (Jn 1:14), to provide an example for living ( 1 Pet 2:21); "Tempted in all things...yet without sin," He was provided unto us a sacrifice for sin (Heb 10: 1-10); to destroy the works of the devil (1 Jn 3:8); to be a merciful High Priest (Heb 5:1-2); and to be highly exalted (Phil 2:9). He lived a perfect life and become our "propitation" (1 Jn 2:2) and become our "subsitute" dying in place of us- the sinenrs (11 Cor 5:21); He arose from the grace ( Jn 20:11-17) and will return soon for His church (11 Thes 2:1-12).
  • The Doctrine of Creation
    • We believe "in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Gen 1:1). He created the earth in six days and rested on the seventh (Gen 2:2). On the sixth day God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness" (Gen 1:26); And God created
